The course objective is to provide knowledge instrumental in making positive decisions for developing a healthy lifestyle. Areas of study include maintaining mental health, good nutrition, factors involved in physical fitness, principles of safety and first aid, prevention of chronic and communicable diseases, misusing chemicals and chemical dependency, and understanding human growth, development, and understanding relationships.
