General Description
Prerequisite: English 9
Building on the skills learned in English 9, English 10 continues instruction in reading and writing. This class utilizes close reading, various discussion models, the whole class study of a variety of novels, a variety of writing tasks, and several project and presentation assessments. English 10 strives to help students improve on their reading and writing skills and to prepare them for upper English classes.
