General Description

Prerequisite: Algebra 2/Trigonometry (recommended C or better)

This course is for college-bound students and those planning to take calculus. This course is an in-depth study of polynomial, power, rational, exponential, logarithmic, and trigonometric functions. Critical areas include, but are not limited to:

  • Analyze functions
  • Parent functions and transformations
  • Characteristics of polynomial, power, rational, exponential, logarithmic, and trigonometric functions
  • Applications of trigonometric and circular functions
  • Trigonometric properties, identities, and proofs
  • Systems of equations 
     

Theory of Action
