Introduction to Physical Education
INTRODUCTION TO PHYSICAL EDUCATION
Lifetime fitness activities is our objective to this class. Students will participate in a variety of activities that encompass the five components of fitness: cardio-respiratory endurance, flexibility, muscular strength, muscular endurance and body composition. Students will participate in a variety of team sports, fitness activities, strength and conditioning and muscle anatomy. They will learn and implement safety guidelines and benefits of a personalized fitness program. Grading is based on student participation, knowledge of fitness components, and fitness improvement.
